A pro-government advocacy group, BTO4PBAT27, has thrown its weight behind the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying ongoing infrastructure projects and governance reforms are clear indicators of progress as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections begin to gather momentum.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the group’s Director General, Ogbeni Adojutelegan Adesuyi Gideon, described the administration’s achievements as “visible and impactful,” pointing to major federal road projects and the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway as strategic investments capable of driving long-term economic growth.
According to the group, the projects are expected to improve connectivity, lower transportation costs, and boost trade, investment, and tourism upon completion.
BTO4PBAT27 urged Nigerians to support the continuity of government policies geared toward national development, stressing that sustainable growth requires consistency in policy implementation.
The group also commended reforms in the Ministry of Interior under Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, highlighting improvements in passport processing, immigration services, and border management.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Publicity Secretary Folajimi Adewumi Gbenga said the administration’s initiatives reflect a broader commitment to nation-building and should be evaluated based on tangible outcomes rather than political rhetoric.
While acknowledging growing political conversations ahead of the 2027 elections, the group called on Nigerians to remain focused on policies it said are designed to promote economic growth, enhance security, and strengthen national unity.
The statement concluded with an appeal for national cohesion and support for the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which it described as a framework for sustaining reforms and accelerating development across the country.
